Thanks for this, I phoned up to be switched the other day and my 3g wasn’t working. Changed the settings to what you said and now it’s fine.

How strange Steve … I didn’t change my settings back as everything was working and as the mantra goes if it isn’t broken don’t fix it!!

My service seems to be as good as ever so I’ll give it a couple of weeks and see how it goes.

O2 could certainly make the whole process a little less painful though, I’ve had so many e-mails from people who got the run around, moved to the wrong tariff and in one case even had their account inadvertently cancelled!!

Hi Elaine,

The network settings you show are indeed correct for Simplicity 20. I found however after moving to Simplicity 20 for iPhone I had to change my network settings back to idata.o2.co.uk for cellular data and MMS.
