Back to work again today and I’ll admit to a certain level of exhaustion. Now before you think it’s the cycling I can assure you it was much more likely the time it took to load the goodies into the fridge last night!

Again it was freezing cold so in addition to my blue cycling shirt I swathed myself in several layers of assorted t-shirts, scarves and finally a jacket before risking biking.

It took at least 15 km before I’d thawed out sufficiently to risk removing anything more than the sheen of perspiration I’d worked up during that 15 km.

Today also brought a well earned reward from my Apple Watch as it informed me I had managed a perfect week for all my activities. For the uninitiated these activities are movement, measured in calories burnt, exercise, measured in minutes, and stands, measured in hours.

400 km done, 1600 km to go.
