Elaine’s 2,000 km Challenge – Day 19 Update

by | 9 Feb 2017 | ASRF4050

After the high of yesterday being signed off from the dentist after almost two years of treatment I didn’t think it could get any better. But today it did!

Today I received my before and after photos from my dentist.

O.M.G. I just sat staring at them. And I don’t mean for a few seconds. I sat staring at them for over an hour!

Every single moment in the chair was worth it. All the apprehension, nervousness, downright fear, the hours flat on my back, the spectacular bruising, each and every injection and the six months waiting for the implants to heal was worth it.

All of it was worth it! Every single second was worth it! Can you tell I’m happy? 😀

I would post said before and after photos but you might be eating your lunch and I wouldn’t want to be responsible for putting you off with the before photos!!

And to celebrate? Why I ordered supplies to keep them in tip-top shape of course LOL

Dental Tape SUpplies

Suffice it to say I tackled today’s biking with renewed vigour and completed it in a record time. Making up for those days when it’s so cold my legs and the pedals refuse to move at all much less in union with each other!

760 km done, 1240 km to go.
