Elaine’s 2,000 km Challenge – Day 26 Update

by | 16 Feb 2017 | ASRF4050

Unbelievably, for me, today marked a hat-trick! 3 days with 40 km done by lunchtime.

Project Snowdon

This was followed by a day full of online training delivery and conference calls so my step count took a bit of a hit. I did attempt to counter this with attending Mass at 7:30pm but I thought Mike’s suggestion of walking to All Saints was a little too adventurous for a freezing night in Manchester in February! Of course Project Snowdon means I can’t possibly put off walking there forever, as it would be good training, but I still deemed it wise to leave it for a warmer day. For those without local knowledge, a round trip to All Saints would be just over 2.5 miles, but in this weather would doubtless feel more like 20 😉

Having got to church though I was delighted to be greeted with more names added to my sponsorship list in the porch so a huge thank you to those who added themselves there.

1040 km done, 960 km to go.
