Hardly a month goes by without another “Photoshop Killer” being announced by the tech press. This summer it was the turn of Affinity Photo from Serif to be lauded as the next big threat to the dominance of Photoshop.
Affinity Photo boasts a fantastic feature-set including, layers, masks, live filters and much, much more. In this live one hour online session I took at a look at how Affinity measures up to the mighty Photoshop.
This month’s live session was the first in the Lightroom series and the whole session is now available on demand via YouTube
My free live session in August is all about Adobe Lightroom. When it comes to photography, as a pro or a keen amateur, not only will you need to be able to edit your photos, you’ll need a way to manage them too. Adobe Lightroom combines photo management and editing in one interface.
I had great fun at the live training session recently dedicated to Photoshop Brushes despite a few technical issues on the night. Of course technical issues just add to the excitement of a live event! If you were there I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. However, if you missed it you’ll be glad to know that the whole session is now available on demand via YouTube
Another free live training session this month and this time it’s all about effectively using brushes in Photoshop. (more…)
