I have used Affinity now for many years since before the Canva takeover. IT is a product that is very good. I also use Lightroom, what would be good is for Affinity to offer a catalog system for photos like LR or Adobe Bridge, thus allowing me to stop using LR.
If it’s just cataloguing you need you could try what I use which is Eagle from https://eagle.cool
It isn’t a direct replacement for Lightroom but for cataloguing images, including native Affinity by Canva files, it’s first rate. There’s a one off cost but all future futures are included in the purchase.
